Behind the Label - WSET Level 2 Intermediate

The Intermediate Certificate is designed to provide vocational training in the broad range of wines and spirits to enhance the knowledge and confidence of staff in the customer service and sales functions of the hospitality, retail and wholesale drinks sectors.

The qualification is suitable for anyone who would benefit from an increased knowledge of wines and spirits.

The course is also excellent for those who would like to acquire a broad knowledge of wines and spirits at an introductory level and by doing so, obtain an internationally recognised qualification.

Students will be introduced to:

· The nature of wine
· The WSET® tasting technique
· Wines of the world, still, sparkling and fortified
· Spirits of the world
· Storage and service of wine

The qualification can be achieved in 4 intensive days or 9 evenings.
